Hi, I’m Celeste
As a deeply feeling neurodivergent artist, creating art is how I make sense of the world. Creating is my language, my connection, and my refuge. Through colour, texture, and contrast I share my journey with you. Each piece is a reflection of lived experience, a celebration of uniqueness, and an invitation to bring beauty, joy, and authenticity into your space. I hope my work brightens your home and speaks to your heart, just as it has to mine..

Life is an ocean, vast and unpredictable, with waves that rise in moments of joy and crash in bouts of sorrow. The horizon, always shifting, holds both promise and mystery, while beneath the surface lie unseen currents shaping our journey. We are sailors navigating the tides, sometimes lost in storms, other times carried gently toward new beginnings.

I am a teacup
small, porcelain-thin —
delicate by design,
not by choice.
Inside me brews a storm:
not rain on windows,
but thunder that rattles bone,
lightning that forks behind the eyes,
waves that crash on nerves like jagged shorelines.
To others, I am calm —
a gentle curve on a shelf,
a quiet sip in the corner of a room.
But they do not hear the roar
trapped within my ceramic frame.
Every sound a siren,
every touch a tremor,
every unspoken rule
another wind I cannot chart.
I hold galaxies of sensation
in a vessel made for one spoonful of calm.
And still I do not spill.
But sometimes,
the tea boils over.
And they call it meltdown,
when it was only the storm
breaking free
from the silence they mistook
for peace.
Polymer clay and repurposed teacup.

51×40cm
Acrylic on canvas.
A reflection on invisible chronic illness and feelings of otherness. Of feeling broken, misunderstood, overlooked and an exhaustion so deep it’s embedded in the very fibre of my being.
While fronting with an exterior that was built out of survival and fear. Smile, be pleasant, fit in. These rules kept me safe but kept others out. Now the mask is so fused that I’ve forgotten how to take it off and the smiling exterior betrays the scream for help from within.
I want to let you in, but what happens when you see the apples are bad?
